Pankaj Nagpal to lead North India chapter of TIES

The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) enters in India by opening its maiden Chapter in the northern part of the country. Experienced entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the leisure, travel and tourism industry, Managing Director of Travstarz Global Group Pankaj Nagpal will lead the Chapter by utilizing his vast experiences in the Indian market.
Nagpal has been associated with Enterprising Travel Agents Association (an Association of Non-IATA Retail Agents and Travel Industry Partners) National Board Member & Chairman – Northern India Region from Jan 2013 to March 2017.
The International Ecotourism Society is a non-profit organization present in 190 countries with over 15000 active members across the globe who follows the guidelines of sustainability and ecological preservation at global standards. Founded in 1990, TIES has been on the forefront of the development of Ecotourism, providing guidelines and standards, training, technical assistance, and educational resources.
With nature under the threat of global warming for over a decade now, TIES works closely with the various associations and government bodies across the world to protect the environment and raise awareness about sustainable and responsible Eco Tourism activities in each country and each member is actively involved and pledged to promote eco tourism and protect nature.
