During its 49th Annual General Meeting held on 16th October, 2019 at Hotel Park, New Delhi PATA India Chapter has elected new Executive Committee and Office Bearers for the term 2019-20. Yogendra Tripathi, Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, will lead PATA India Chapter as its Chairman.
Jatinder Taneja, MD, Travel Spirit International has been elected as the association’s Vice Chairman along with the other Office bearers. Vikram Madhok, MD, Abercrombie & Kent, as Hon. Secretary and, SanJeet, Director, DDP Publications as Hon. Treasurer. Runeep Sangha will continue as Executive Director, PATA India Chapter.
While presiding the meeting Yogendra Tripathi, Chairman PATA India Chapter appreciated the role PATA was playing and recognized its business development initiatives. He felt that in the years ahead PATA should work more closely with the Ministry to promote tourism and bring greater value to its members. Post the AGM, the new Executive Committee met to discuss business at hand.
