ITTA shortlisted Madhya Pradesh in two categories

The winners will be announced to an audience of more than 500 leading industry figures at Magazine London on November 5th 2019.

Madhya Pradesh has recently been shortlisted in two prestigious categories at the International Travel and Tourism Awards (ITTA). The state has been shortlisted in The Best Destination (Regions) category and as Best Food Destination for Indore – the City for Foodies. The Best Destinations category is a highly coveted one with more than 90 destinations vying for a spot in the shortlist.
The second shortlist Best Food Destination is for Indore, a city that is getting increasingly recognised as the ‘City for Foodies’. The abundant variety of cuisines available in Indore along with the vibrant street food scene with the iconic Sarafa Bazar and other notable places has put the city on the global gastronomy map and is well on its way to becoming India’s first Foodies Paradise.
Madhya Pradesh, with its varied tourism offerings including wildlife, heritage, culture and adventure, has built a strong reputation as a state at the forefront of the tourism development in India.
International Travel and Tourism Awards is presented by WTM and supported by UNWTO to celebrate the success of national, regional and city tourist boards and showcase the best in class of the global travel & tourism industry.
Expert judges are drawn from top industry organisations including, WTTC, International Airline Group (IAG), Adobe, Earth Changers, London & Partners, Euro monitor International, public relations body PRCA and the Global Wellness Institute.
The winners will be announced to an audience of more than 500 leading industry figures – including Heads of Tourism and Government Ministers – during a prestigious awards ceremony at Magazine London on November 5th 2019.
