Amidst increasing uncertainty and travel restrictions due to growing number of Covid-19 infections, AirAsia India has announced free rescheduling on all flights for bookings till 15th May 2021. The airline has extended this offer on its website as well as other major booking channels. Guests can make unlimited changes for all bookings and changes made till 15th May 2021, irrespective of the travel dates, without incurring any flight change fees.
Flights can also be rescheduled through AirAsia India’s chatbot on its website and WhatsApp. In addition to rescheduling flights and modifying bookings, Tia can also assist guests with travel advisories, FAQs, claim refunds, check flight status or explore service recovery options.
The airline has taken a number of initiatives to provide passengers safe travel in view of the pandemic. All aircraft undergo deep cleaning and sanitation, while cabin disinfection takes place before each flight.
All its aircraft are equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Arresters (HEPA) which filter 99.99% of dust particles and airborne contaminants, including viruses and bacteria. Due to a constant ‘downwash’ of air @1m/sec any risk of cross contamination is minimised and cabin air is refreshed every 3 minutes with fresh air from outside the aircraft.
