Tourism India Alliance signs an MoU with Chhatisgarh Travel Trade Association

The event was attended by over 60 travel agents from the cities of Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Korba and Jagdalpur

In a letest development, the Tourism India Alliance (TIA) inked an MOU with the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA) in Raipur. The MOU was singed by Jagdeep Bhagat, National President TIA and Kapil Jain, President, CGTTA in the presence of Jitendra Shukla, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Sambit Kumar, Vice President, Hotel Triton.
The event was attended by over 60 travel agents from the cities of Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Korba and Jagdalpur in a meticulously planned ceremony at Hotel Triton in Raipur.
Officials from the office of Indiatourism, Indigo Airlines, Insurance and Forex agencies were also present. Senior members from the Central Leadership of Tourism India Alliance, New Delhi were also present including Mukesh Jain, Kamal Gandhi and Mamta Pal.
Jitendra Shukla, MD, Chhatisgarh Tourism Board in his speech termed it as , ‘an historic event’ which will have very good long term consequences in the development of tourism in the State of Chhattisgarh. He reiterated his support for the travel industry.
Jagdeep Bhagat in his address mentioned about the philosophy behind working of TIA and spoke about the importance of fostering partnerships to work towards common goals.
Kapil Jain, on the other hand explained about the objectives on which CGTTA is working for. ‘Giving Back to The Trade’ as per his is one of the core philosophies of CGTTA.
Sambit Kumar, Vice President, Hotel Triton made a presentation about their lovely property and explained its USPs to the agents present. This event was also hosted by Hotel Triton.
During this event certificates of membership were also distributed to the members of Tourism India Alliance and CGTTA. After the completion of the the official program, all the attendees networked with each other over high tea.
This is an incredible development in the Indian tourism industry as it marks the coming together of two associations for the betterment of the trade. Such partnerships will help the members in the travel industry to connect with each other in a better way and will also help in the better exchange of ideas and information.
