Toshali Sands spearheads ethnic weddings by embracing New Normal

Opening after three months of shutdown – due to the spread out of Novel Coronavirus across the country, Toshali Sands Ethnic Village Resorts in Puri, Odisha has organised three back-to-back wedding events. Under Unlock 1.0, Government guideline has allowed wedding functions with a limited gathering of 50 guests followed by social distancing and other SOP’s to prevent the further spread out of the Coronavirus.
On the lines of ‘New Normal’ adopted by Toshali Group amid the spread out of COVID-19 pandemic, all related functions such as Mehendi, Haldi and Engagement were organised on June 10-11, June 28-29, and July 01-02 for the families based out of Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively. All wedding functions were telecasted through live streaming for the virtual participation and blessings of extended family members, relatives and friends.
While following the new guidelines set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Government of India, affable staff at Toshali Sands made sure that all the flowers were fumigated, sanitizers replaced the Gulabjal in greeting the handful of guests at the entrance and the mask become a compulsory wedding accessory. All the guests had their temperatures checked every day with proper social distancing.
