Switzerland lifts all Covid-related travel restrictions from May 2nd

Switzerland will welcome travellers from across the world as it did before the pandemic. Switzerland’s State Secretariat of Migration (SEM) has lifted all entry restrictions that it had put in place through the duration of the pandemic.
The country is now open to all with only the general travel rules applicable for entry to the country, as before the pandemic.
“Switzerland tops the wish list of avid travellers across the world who have been waiting to visit the country these past two years without being burdened by paperwork. Now, they can! We look forward to hosting Indian travellers from May 2nd onwards and can’t wait for them to come and enjoy the wonder that is Switzerland,” said Ritu Sharma, Deputy Director and Marketing Head – India.
Travellers who have been looking forward to visiting Switzerland can book direct flights from Mumbai and Delhi with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) – the preferred airline between the two countries.
The airline resumed their operations in India earlier in the year, after India and Switzerland signed an air bubble agreement that allowed their national carriers to operate flights between the two countries.
