Royals Club pledges to support ‘Rethinking Tourism’

Royals Club International, one of India’s fastest growing timeshare companies, has pledged to support UNWTO’s World Tourism Day (WTD) 2022 theme of ‘Rethinking Tourism.’ WTD is celebrated on 27th of September every year.
Elaborating on this, Arvind Singh, CMD, Royals Club International, said, “The UNWTO’s WTD 2022 theme ‘Rethinking Tourism’ returns to focus on the future of tourism. It aims to secure the future of travel and tourism, businesses in the sector, livelihood of hundreds of millions of people engaged through jobs and opportunities, while at the same time being responsible towards the planet, environment and community. We cannot just go back to old ways. It’s imperative, more than ever, to determine, the tourism that we want in the future.”
He further says that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development remains the end goal of UNWTO. “And as the UNWTO Secretary General says that ‘every part of the sector must rethink how we get there’, Royals Club International’s pledge to support the theme is initially two-fold.”
“However, we will continue to add and innovate under the tutelage of esteemed bodies like UNWTO as well as our learnings from best industry practices,” added Singh.
“In keeping with the WTD theme and it’s interpretation, we will do everything in our capacity to help promote our beautiful country’s unique destinations and attractions with special emphasis on lesser known tourism products, attractions and destinations,” he further said.
“Furthermore, we pledge to do everything in our capacity towards creating greater awareness on environmental and sustainability goals and other social responsibility by inviting people, travel enthusiasts, our members, to participate in telling their unique travel experiences and stories that we can take to a larger audience in order to spread greater awareness on topics like sustainability, social responsibility, inclusiveness, nature and heritage conservation, community engagements, among others,” Singh said elaborating on the pledge.
Covid-19 disruptions redefined the way business was conducted and Royals Club International strongly feels that stakeholders and companies in travel and tourism need to come forward with strong intent to back such wonderful initiative.

  1. We are trying to book something from September 2022, and yet we are hardly receiving satisfactory responses each time from your team both online & offline.

    Finally your team gave us a list of 25 hotels to choose from, which we did. These hotels are not even fit to have any exchange fee, as they are not even up to the mark/standards of top hotel brands. And still your team failed to book the same. The company has consistently cheated us & failed to fulfil each of their promises from the past 6 months.

    Every promise made on the table in Goa in July 2022, while buying membership is broken and fallen apart. The promised 2500+ tie-up hotels list has been removed completely.

    Please proceed on refund procedures immediately. If further disappointed and delayed, we will be forced to take up legal actions, along with complaining to PMO & Consumer Complaint forums.

    Reason & History of Fake promises:

    We are paying upfront of Rs. 2,10,000/- of our 6 nights vacation for 25 alternate years, of which average price of each night is observed to be:

    = 210000 / (12 years * 6 nights)

    = Rs. 2916 /-

    With AMC, per night becomes

    = 10600/6

    = Rs. 1800 /-

    So, Total per night cost

    without exchange + AMC -> Rs. 4176 /- per night
    With exchange + AMC -> $320/6 = Rs. 26455/6 -> Rs. 9125 /- per night

    Now, the LATEST hotels list that Royals Club International will share with us in Dec 2022 does not meet the criteria based on which we have paid 2,10,000/- to the company. As per initial commitments and promises, the company had assured us 4 & 5 star hotel stays of Ramada, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Marriott & Sheraton & many more hotel chains with assured free breakfast.

    Today, the company failed to deliver their promise.

    If we go through a few of the hotels list that is provided to us now in Dec 2022.

    There are hotels like

    Golden Tulip Manali -> 2000 per night (After paying minimum of 4176 in advance by several months & years.
    The latest provided hotels by your team is offering us hotel rooms of Rs. 4531 & Rs. 5406. While, shamelessly, your team is also demanding us to pay exchange fee + AMC costing us double the hotel room charges of Rs. 9125. If we are paying 9125, we are surprised to notice that the same is costing us 4531 if we do on our own. Also, your team has denied breakfast for the same hotels which is also breaking the promised terms & condition.

    We still do not have a clarity on with & without exchange hotels list, which was not as per initial promise.

    How are you even demanding an exchange fee for hotels which is not even one of the above top hotel brands? If we have to pay 320$, then why am I not offered rooms in Ramada, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Marriott or Sheraton as per promise. (As the terms say, top class hotels in any exchange list was between 120$ & 320$)

    Based on the website and Thick Hotels Book available with your marketing team in Goa, why are the hotels list still displayed as Domestic, International and Exchange? When none of the hotels are available for booking. Is it for cheating people?

    We were informed that Royals Club International has direct tie-ups with:

    2500+ hotels & resorts in the world (without exchange) and
    some top notch exchange hotels as well (with exchange)

    As of today, total hotels list are not even exceeding 50, which are not even matching with the promised hotel standards & benefits.

    We are also denied free breakfast that was part of our package.

    Do you think we are donating our hard earned Money to Royals club international so that the company can continue cheating us?

    We are hardly receiving any timely & effective response from your team over email & phone, which is also failing to meet your terms & conditions of online booking.

    We are quite busy and we do not have time to fight for illegal & cheating activities of Royals. If the refund is getting delayed, we will have to submit this case to our family lawyer who will take it forward and we will demand for penalties and interests of the money which we have lost, because already your company is investing with our Rs. 2,10,000, interest of which we are still not claiming.

    We are just asking for our money back because the company has failed to justify and fulfil the made promise of assured services. We still did not receive any service & are fit to demand for money back as the company does not have the promised 2500+ hotels anymore in their list.

    U cheated ours money right..we earn single rupee ..by working hard day n nit u know? If you guys steal money how r we supposed ran the family?
    U and ur family will have curse from us until u die….
    Return all our money
    We have mailed yours customer care mail..and called many time they replied no membership fees available..but we paid ..I have all receipts
