Marriott International set to launch two flagship properties in Mumbai

The anticipated opening of JW Marriott Hotel Thane Garden City in 2025 and Mumbai Marriott Hotel Sky City in 2026 is expected to add 560 rooms in the financial capital of India

Marriott International today announced the signing of an agreement with Oberoi Realty Limited and their subsidiary Incline Realty Private Limited, to debut the company’s flagship brand, Marriott Hotels, in Mumbai along with the iconic JW Marriott brand, anticipated to be the third in the city.
Both hotels, the JW Marriott Hotel Thane Garden City and Mumbai Marriott Hotel Sky City are expected to open over 2027- 2028. The two properties are set to offer elevated dining experiences and immersive brand programs that will help locals and travellers indulge in holistic well-being with JW Marriott while they experience the wonderful hospitality of Marriott Hotels.

Located on the north-eastern outskirts of Mumbai, JW Marriott Hotel Thane Garden City is expected to feature 280 guest rooms inspired by residential interiors. Drawing cues from local and international fare, the hotel will offer three dining outlets, a full-service Lobby Lounge and a Pool Bar. Plans also call for a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and the brand’s signature Spa by JW.
In addition, the hotel is expected to feature 1,670 square meters of event space, making it a prime destination for small to medium scale events.
Mumbai Marriott Hotel Sky City will be situated in Borivali, known recently for some of the most anticipated high-end residential and retail developments.
The hotel is expected to feature 280 spacious and sophisticated guestrooms and offer an inspiring mix of dining options, providing guests with elevated experiences through heartfelt service and modern, comfortable spaces.
