Kyrgyz embarks on huge promotions with the launch of maiden series of roadshows

In another major development in Central Asian nations the Department of Tourism of Kyrgyz Republic has signed an agreement with Salvia Promoters and opened its office in India for the promotion of tourism

In order to create awareness and promote the tourism attractions of the country among the growing outbound travellers in India, Kyrgyz Republic has launched a massive campaign across the country.
To begin with, under the guidance of Prashant Chaudhary, Managing Director of Slavia Promoters, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in India H. E. Asein Isaev and President Tourism Development Support Fund, Elena Kalashnikova along with the other senior officials has interacted with the member of the Indian travel-trade fraternity.
The Kyrgyz Republic Roadshow India Chapter 2022 began with its first roadshow in New Delhi on June 7th followed by Mumbai on June 8th. Presentations made by the senior officials of the Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic were well attended by the large number of travel agents, tour-operators and media present on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in India H. E. Asein Isaev said, “Kyrgyzstan and India have shared history culture and friendship spanning over a thousand years. Promotion of tourism would facilitate more and more Indian travellers to visit our beautiful country and further strengthen our people to people relations that is centuries old.”


Speaking on the same lines, President of Tourism Development Support Fund, Elena Kalashnikova said, “Tourism is the gate for win-win collaboration, which will have multiple effects on sustainable development of other many sectors of the economy.”
She further informed that launched just two months before ‘Tourism Development Support Fund’ will look all aspects of tourism promotions and branding as well as attracting investors to Krygyzstan.
“Kyrgyzstan has untapped potential and provides to be a short-haul destination (two and half hour) with a direct flight from New Delhi,” said Prashant Chaudhary, Managing Director, Salvia Promoters.
“Our motive behind organising these roadshows in to reach the Indian travel fraternity and through media reach travellers and make them aware about the vast potential of the destination has to offer with its culture, nature, silk route history, and most importantly its hassle free seven days visa processing time,” he added.
“We have been promoting tourism to Kyrgyzstan in India for decades and with support of our new partnership we plan to double the number of travellers to Kyrgyzstan by next year,” concludes Chaudhary.
