Israel to open borders for vaccinated travellers from Jan 09

In a latest development, Israel has announced that the country will open its borders for all vaccinated travellers from orange countries effective from January 09, 2022. Unvaccinated foreign nationals will not be allowed to arrive in Israel.
The Prime Minister and the Ministers of Health, Interior, Tourism and Transport has concluded that vaccinated/recovered foreign nationals from countries on the orange list will be allowed to arrive in Israel.
Traveller who wish to visit the country need to fill an online form ahead of time, taking a PCR or antigen test before boarding the flight, taking a PCR test upon arrival in Israel, following which they will go into the isolation for 24 hours or until they test negative (whichever is earlier).
