MP Tourism connects with Pune tour operators, travel agents

In a virtual roadshow, MP Tourism assured full support to industry stakeholders for revival of domestic tourism between states

As COVID-19 vaccination drive has started in India, State Tourism Departments are gearing up to expedite the touristic activities. In order to create awareness about the post Covid-19 SOP’s and offerings the Tourism Departments are interacting with the travel trade fraternity. Recently, Madhya Pradesh – one of the leading states in tourism, oragnised a virtual roadshow and interacted with the tour operators and travel agents of Pune in Maharashtra.
While elaborating on the event, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh & Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said: “This event helps us to achieve our goals in promoting our tourism products. We are hoping that this road show will stimulate the curiosity in the travel agents and tour operators and they in turn will lead their guests to explore and experience Madhya Pradesh.
While interacting with the industry stakeholders he assured full support of Madhya Pradesh tourism for the revival of domestic tourism between the states.
Speaking on the occasion, Sonia Meena, IAS, Addl. Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said: “We are in the process to build the confidence and trust amongst the travellers we have launched various campaigns during lockdown with the intention of keeping in touch with travellers and our partners to ensure them that all the norms for safety against COVID-19 are being followed”.
Madhya Pradesh has always offered an assortment of attractions to everyone who loves to travel. It has wildlife hotspots with 11 National parks & 24 Wildlife sanctuaries with rich Flora and Fauna. ‘The Tiger State of India’ also recently crowned as ‘Leopard State’ for having the highest number of Leopard count in the State.
