While India has entered in to the Unlock 3.0, the ‘Rajasthan Chapter’ of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) in collaboration with some of the prominent heritage properties i. e. WelcomHeritage Indrapur, Mandawa Castle and Mandawa Desert Resort in the state invited the Managing Committee members of the association to review the preparedness of hotels while receiving tourists during the COVID-19 era.
The delegation led by ADTOI President P. P. Khanna was happy to see that all the properties are following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s) listed by the Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India, ICMR, State Governments and World Health Organisation (WHO).
According to Rajesh Arya, Vice President, ADTOI, “Rajasthan is the leading state set to receive the tourist by adopting ‘New Normal’ post COVID-19. Almost all the monuments across the state are opened for the tourists. The purpose of the visit was to review the preparedness ourselves and creating awareness among the tourists and the industry stakeholders to begin the activities.”
“The delegation has visited three heritage properties i. e. WelcomHeritage Indrapur, Mandawa Castle and Mandawa Desert Resort. All the properties are very clean, hygiene and following the guidelines issued by the Government of India,” informed Arya.
“The properties and tour operators are using all the latest technologies and have infrastructure to provide sage, clean and hygiene atmosphere to the tourist,” he added.
