IndiGo adds Tuticorin as its 53rd destination

New Delhi: Further spreading its wings under the UDAN scheme through ATR operations
IndiGo, has added Tuticorin to its network. A city of over 411,000 population in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, Tuticorin, will be the 53rd destination on IndiGo’s network.
IndiGo with its 10th ATR aircraft will operate three daily non-stop flights between Chennai and
Tuticorin. The low cost carrier will also operate a second daily non-stop flights between Chennai and
Calicut. These new flights will be operational effective July 26, 2018.
Both corporate and leisure customers travelling from Tuticorin will now have the opportunity to
experience the courteous and hassle-free service, and on-time performance that IndiGo is synonymous with. The introduction of these flights will further strengthen the airline’s ATR operations, and will provide connectivity between Tuticorin and other key cities with all-inclusive fares starting from INR 2999.
