Experience Hub strengthens collaboration with Indian partners

With a 20 percent year on year growth rate, India has become one of the fastest growing markets for Yas Island.

Experience Hub, the trade and promotion arm of Yas Island Abu Dhabi, strengthened and expanded its relationship with Indian travel partners during South Asian Travel and Trade Exhibition (SATTE) in New Delhi concluded recently. Promoting Yas Island Abu Dhabi as a one-of-a-kind destination for UAE-bound holidaymakers, Experience Hub highlighted many of the island’s award-winning attractions while underscoring collaboration opportunities for travel companies in the South Asian market.
While elaborating, Marina Cipriano, General Manager of Experience Hub said: “We are deeply invested in India, which, at a 20% year on year growth rate, is one of our fastest growing markets for Yas Island. SATTE 2019 was the perfect platform for us to further engage and strengthen our relationships with existing travel partners, while also expanding our network. Working hand-in-hand with India’s travel experts allows us to deliver best-in-class experiences, and ensure that we can provide Indian travellers visiting Yas Island Abu Dhabi with unrivalled entertainment value.”
Following its launch in January2018, Experience Hub demonstrated its commitment to the Indian market by expanding its presence in the country, with the establishment of key offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. After the strategic recruitment of a dedicated team for South India, Experience Hub succeeded in creating a growing network of agents and travel operators based in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Cochin.
Furthermore, Experience Hub embarked on several roadshows and events in India, alongside the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Etihad Airways, in an effort to further understand the particular needs of Indian travellers and stay connected with the market’s key players.
Experience Hub has successfully on-boarded a large number of partners across India, extending its reach to cities including Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Jaipur and Chandigarh, with many more expected in the next few months.
The increasingly popular Yas Island Abu Dhabi is home to an incredible array of award-winning leisure attractions including three iconic theme parks Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. With the support of our key partner, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, we are committed to making Abu Dhabi one of the region’s foremost tourism destinations, driving higher visitation and longer stays in the nation’s capital,” she concludes.
