CM Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate fourth edition of UPTM tomorrow

Power packed inaugural and the address by Chief Minister clearly testifying the commitment the state has towards furthering the growth of tourism

Uttar Pradesh Tourism in association with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) is all set to open the fourth edition of ‘Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart (UPTM) on 27-28 August 2018 at Lucknow. Chief Minister of the State Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the event at 10:00AM taking place at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
Power packed inaugural and the address by the Honorable Chief Minister of the State clearly testifying the commitment the state has towards furthering the growth of tourism. Tourism Minister of Uttar Pradesh Rita Bahuguna Joshi will also be present on the occasion and deliver the ‘Special Address’.
The two-day-long UPTM 2018 exhibition and B2B meetings will promote travel and tourism in a substantial way for the state of Uttar Pradesh. The exhibition will also include pre-scheduled B2B meeting with over 277 foreign buyers from 55 countries.
50 fully hosted top of the line foreign tour operators from across the world has been invited to forge the pre-scheduled structured (B2B meetings) for two full days with the sellers of tourism products of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
10 fully hosted leading tour operators, both inbound and domestic from across India has been invited. They too will undertake pre-scheduled structured (B2B meetings) with the sellers. There will be several FAM trip for foreign tour operators leading to onsite marketing of tourism products of Uttar Pradesh.
Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary & Director General, Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh will deliver the Key Note address. Dr Jyotsna Suri, Past President, FICCI; Chairperson, FICCI Tourism Committee & CMD, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group will elaborate on the ‘Theme’ of the event. Uma Shankar Bhartia, Chairperson, FICCI UP Tourism State Council and Chairman & Managing Director, India Glycols Limit will deliver the vote of thanks.
FICCI-MRRS India reports on ‘Uttar Pradesh – A conglomeration of Culture, Religious and Heritage Tourism’ and ‘Uttar Pradesh – A new growth driver of tourism investment in India’ will also be released.
