ADTOI launches unprecedented discount for new members

The proposed 50% discount in ‘Membership Fee’ is valid till 30th September 2020.

At a time when the whole world is going through a very difficult phase – especially the tourism sector due to the spread out of COVID-19 pandemic, the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has come forward with an unprecedented offer which could be seen as a sort of relief to the domestic tour operators who wish to take the membership of the association.
The Managing Committee has decided to offer a special membership fee of Rs. 4000 + GST (with a discount of 50%) for those agencies who like to apply for the membership. The membership is open for domestic tour operators, agents and MICE operators in ‘Primary Category’ and domestic focused hotels and transporters in ‘Ancillary Category’. The offer valid only for this month is expiring on 30th September 2020.
“Domestic tourism is going to drive economies in each country for the next few years. USA, Germany, Spain etc. have already announced to travel with in the country to promote their own destinations,” said Chetan Gupta, Secretary General, ADTOI.
“Since COVID-19 has destroyed tourism up to a large extent; we see no immediate remedy for the after effects created by the pandemic. However, with the states opening up their gates to welcome tourists, the revival of domestic tourism is not too far,”
he added.
Though the country has entered into the ‘Unlock 4.0’ people of the country are avoiding travel if it is not necessary. But people would like to travel once after their confidence is restored.
He further informed that the association is targeting to double the Domestic Tourism visits in the country from 1.8bn to 3.6bn by 2025 which will make India second largest domestic market in the world. Therefore, creating strong membership base to facilitate the drive of reviving tourism, the discounted offer is a very appropriate move to strengthen the representation of the domestic tour operators across the country.
