Indian Association of Tour Operator (IATO) is all set to organised its 40th Annual Convention from 22nd to 25th August 2025 in Puri, Odisha, the holy city of Lord Jagannath.
While elaborating on the main content of the Convention, IATO’s President Ravi Gusain informed that ‘Rejuvenate Inbound @2030‘ has been opted as the theme of the Convention.
He further informed that Sanjay Razdan, Vice President of IATO will be the Chairman of the Convention along with Viney Tyagi, Hony. Joint Secretary and Gagan Sarangi, Chairman, IATO Odisha Chapter as the Co-Chairmen.
Swosti Premium Beach Resorts is the venue hotel and all the activities on all the three days i.e. registration for the convention, inaugural function, business sessions and evening programmes will be held at this very resort.
While speaking further, Gosain also apprised that Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Union Minister of Tourism, Govt. of India have been invited to inaugurate the Convention on 22nd August 2025.

“Senior Officials Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and many state tourism departments will participate and we expect about 17-18 states to participate in the convention,” he added.
Sanjay Razdan, Chairman of the Convention, said that we have overwhelming response from the members and other stakeholders and we expect about 900-1000 delegates from all over the country to participate which will include senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and the States, industry leaders, tourism and hospitality professionals, travel trade media.
“There are eight post convention tours being organised on various sectors to showcase the offerings of Odisha amongst the tourism stakeholders who will later promote these destinations in overseas and domestic markets,” added Sanjay Razdan.
During the 3 days convention there will be deliberations on burning issues during the business sessions being finalised and we will have experts in all fields.
Besides the serious discussions during the business sessions, IATO Run for Responsible Tourism will be organised on 24th August 2025 and awards would be given in various categories to the winners and runners up.
Also, the Convention will have evening entertainment programme on all three days and delegates will enjoy taking time off from their busy schedule. A Karaoke Singing Competition will be organised on 23rd August evening.
During the convention, IATO is also organizing Indian Tourism Fair (Travel Mart) on 22nd to 24th August 2025 at the convention venue, which will give an opportunity for our members to interact with the state tourism department and other stakeholders who are exhibiting to interact with each other and promote tourism.
