ETAA North India Chapter organizes networking meet for members

Plans to visit Punjab in November to spread its membership base in the state

Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) – North India Chapter conducted a networking session on 20th October 2018 in Delhi. The event was attended by more than 175 people including ETAA members and industry stalwarts.
Industry veterans such as PP Khanna – President ADTOI, Ashwani Sharma – Chairman, TAFI North India, Kulwant Singh, MD Lama Tours, Ankush Nijhawan – MD, TBO Group and Arvinder Singh Sethi – MD, Sahibji Travel showed the strength by their presence and appreciated the efforts to grow Tourism with togetherness. The event was sponsored by Anchor Destinations and Travel Management Pvt Ltd, Kazin Travel Consultants and TravKart.
While addressing the members, Sangeeta Manocha, Chairperson ETAA North India and Director ETAA National Board, informed that ETAA has been doing knowledge sessions for its members and educating them with various products and services in the travel and tourism industry. “We organised this networking session for our members to serve as a platform for meeting the right people for the betterment of their businesses. With events like these, more and more people have shown interest in joining ETAA,” she said.
“We have also planned for various destination workshop trainings and educational tours to benefit our members to sell the destinations better. As for our future prospects, ETAA North India plans to visit Punjab in November to spread its membership base in the state,” she added.
The event started off with the orientation and introduction of the sponsors. After which, the dignitaries were honoured and the lucky draws were announced. A total of 9 lucky draws took place out of which 04 Vouchers were given by Kulwant Singh – Lama Tours, 02 from Ankush Nijhawan, TBO Group, 01 each by Ramesh Tickoo, Mahi Singh – Andaman Experts and Sandeep Raghav, Sheraton Maldives.
The event resumed with a live band performance by Raman Gill Band and the attendees danced off to the music and networking continued over dinner.
